Existing CBG Law client Barcade Limited open their second site.
After their unique mix of craft beer and retro arcade games landed in a former butchers on Rye Lane (earning them a reputation as one of “the best new London openings of 2014” and a firm favourite place to go on a night out in Peckham) it was only a matter of time before the team behind Four Quarters opened a second site.
Four Quarters East opened on 10 February at Here East in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and will offer a selection of craft beer, cocktails and retro arcade games together with a bar menu.
Alex Hutchings, commercial property partner at CBG Law acted for Barcade on the lease of their first premises and was delighted to assist the company again. He commented “Barcade took the lease of their first premises on Rye Lane just before the developers arrived in their droves and have built up a loyal fan base as part of the regeneration of the area. I am confident their second site will prove just as popular and contribute to the revival of Hackney Wick and wish them every success at Four Quarters East”
Simon Dennison, a director of Barcade, added “CBG Law acted for us on our first site and we were impressed with Alex’s practical advice. Having built up a relationship with the firm over the past couple of years they were our first choice when it came to dealing with the lease on our new location as we know they will always look after interests. We look forward to working with Alex again in the future”.
