Long-standing CBG Law client opens third restaurant
Following the success of The Shed in Notting Hill and Rabbit in Chelsea, CBG Law are delighted to have assisted restaurateurs, the Gladwin brothers, in securing their third site at Ransome’s Dock in Battersea. The new restaurant, called Nutbourne, is named after the Gladwin family vineyard and farm in West Sussex from where much of the produce as well as the wine are sourced.
Ian Leigh, commercial property partner at CBG Law, and who acted for the Gladwins in securing Rabbit and now Nutbourne (pictured below with Richard and Oliver Gladwin and CBG Law senior partner Peter Ruchniewicz) commented “the Gladwins continue to stand out in the London restaurant scene and have understandably developed a very loyal following. I am sure that Nutbourne will build on the success that they’ve enjoyed with The Shed and Rabbit. We’ve been delighted to have assisted them in taking these fantastic premises and wish them every success at their new site in Battersea”.
Richard Gladwin added “CBG Law have a strong reputation acting for a number of restaurateurs. It has been invaluable having them on our side, as they have been with our other restaurants. Their advice enabled us to secure the premises quickly without any hiccups.”
